Recent Projects

This elegant, light, relaxing room features our Marlow sofas and chairs in GP&J Baker Fairford. We linked the cool limed oak floor with beautiful part silk Garous style Persian rugs in calm colours, and a glass topped propeller table to contrast with the more classic pieces.

The roman blinds are kept simple with a textured silk and are framed by dark framed original oils which reflect the traditional feel of the baby grand piano. 

The room is balanced at the other end by a comfy yet smart TV area with a seven seater U shaped corner sofa and buttoned ottoman footstool, accented with velvet, textured chenille and silk scatters.

The patio doors are finished with a subtle window treatment on a glass and silver pole with an airy fabric from Threads.

Just a line to say that the sofa looks absolutely divine in it's new home overlooking the beach! It was in situ at 8.10 am! The two delivery personnel were very helpful and managed to squeeze the sofa through the front door with one inch to spare! They were very efficient and professional. It made a change to deal with an independent company who have proved to be as good as their word which doesn't happen a lot these days. We have no hesitation in recommending you...

Settle have transformed the Oast room in our house, which had proved a particular problem to furnish. The furniture they provided for us is not only comfortable it is also attractive and works well in the room. I have used Marianne and Richard at Settle in Tunbridge Wells over the last decade to source several pieces of interesting furniture to furnish our house in Kent and our chalet in France. What attracted me to Settle was M and R's ability not only to offer well designed, non mainstream items, but also the fact that they can offer bespoke furniture which the larger retailers are unable to do, and how this bespoke service is so competitive with retailers whose offerings are nowhere near as stylish. Nothing is too much trouble for M and R, who have been able to provide any design of furniture - one example of this was a corner sofa which needed to be made at a very strange angle. I was able to choose a design and size that suited the room perfectly and the sofa has been a huge success...
